The Plan Behind the Post

August 27, 20263 min read

Let's be honest. The word "planning" doesn't exactly set the pulse racing. For a self-employed agent juggling viewings, valuations and everything in between, sitting down to map out a month's worth of social media content can feel like the last thing you need to add to your list.

We get it.
We built the content calendar, and even we know that planning content isn't the exciting part of marketing.

But it is one of the most important.

Why Planning Makes a Difference

Posting consistently is the single biggest factor in whether social media delivers results for your business. Not the quality of your graphics, the perfect time of day or the number of hashtags you use. Consistency. Showing up often enough that, when someone in your area starts thinking about moving, your name already feels familiar.

The reality is, most of us don't stop posting because we've run out of things to say. We stop because we run out of time to think about what to say next.

That's exactly what the calendar is here to solve.

What the Calendar is Really For

The monthly content calendar inside your hub gives you one piece of content for every single day of the month. Up to thirty-one posts, fully planned, copy written, design templates ready to edit and post.

That does not mean you need to post thirty-one times a month.

We built the calendar to give you more content than you'll probably ever need. Every idea, every format, every seasonal hook we thought was worth using. What you take from it is entirely up to you. Some agents will use the majority of it. Others will pick eight or ten posts that feel right for them and leave the rest. Both are completely valid approaches.

Some months you'll barely touch it because your own property content takes over. Other months you'll be glad it's there because you've had a busy few weeks and haven't had the time, or the headspace, to think about social media.

Think of it as a library of ideas, not a checklist.

Start With What You Can Commit To

Before you dive into the calendar, ask yourself one question.
How many times a week can you realistically post?

Three times a week is a great starting point for most agents. That's enough to build consistency without social media becoming another full-time job. If you want to post more, brilliant. If twice a week feels more achievable, start there instead.

The important thing is choosing a routine you can actually stick to.

Pick your number.
Then let the calendar fill the gaps.

The Hard Part is Already Done

Every post in the calendar comes with a concept, a caption and a design template. The thinking, the ideas and the creative are already there. Your job is simply to choose what fits your business, add your own local knowledge and personality, and get it out into the world.

If you're ready to get started, we've put together a companion guide that walks you through the calendar, shows you how to adapt the templates and helps you build a routine that works for your business.

The plan is already there.
The rest is making it work for your business.
